What are Carnistore’s Terms and Conditions?

Carnistore is passionate about delivering high quality foods to all its Clients. When you shop at Carnistore, you can expect high standards from our dedicated Carnistore ‘Client Focused’ Crew (the “Carnistore Crew”). This page provides our terms and conditions (our “Terms and Conditions”) that will apply to your use of Carnistore.com (“our Website”) and any product or service (each an “Order”) you purchase from us. In addition to our Terms and Conditions, you may also find it helpful to browse our FAQ section as you will find useful information there such as how to make an Order, when you can expect your Order, guidelines on how to handle food delivered to you in addition to other helpful responses to many frequently asked questions.
All Carnistore products and services comply with applicable law and regulation.
All our products are Halal certified.
2.Who is Carnistore?
Our Website is owned and operated by CSM Catering Services LLC, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates with registered number 801138, located in Al Quoz Industrial 2, Warehouse S05,Dubai, UAE. If you have any questions about any of the products or services we offer, these Terms and Conditions or otherwise, please Contact Us.
The terms “Carnistore”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to CSM Catering Services LLC. The terms “you” and “your” refer to you as a customer of Carnistore (our “Client”), whether you access, browse, use, create an account and/or place an Order for a product or service from us on our Website.
3.Your Contract of Sale with us
When you place an Order with us on our Website, you make an offer to us to purchase the relevant product or service, as the case may be, and you agree to these Terms and Conditions of sale.
To place an Order, you can open a Carnistore account with us which will require you to provide some personal information. Alternatively, you can choose to place your Order without creating an account.
Please note that completion of the online checkout process does not constitute our acceptance of your offer to purchase products or services from us. Our acceptance of your Order will be confirmed to you by email following commencement of preparation of the product or provision of the service that you ordered from us, as applicable. We will notify you in writing by email shortly after you place your Order to acknowledge that we have received and are processing your Order. This email, which will contain your Order number, will confirm our contract of sale with you.
Our contract with you will commence from the moment you receive our confirmation email and shall end six hours following delivery of your Order.
Any amendment or cancellation can be accepted up until the moment your Order is prepared for despatch. Amendments can be made by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling us on +971 43 31 3337. If you amend or change your Order you may find there are changes to your delivery timetable. Once your Order has been despatched, you will be unable to amend or cancel it.
If the Carnistore Crew are unable to fulfil your Order by the time you require, we will let you know as quickly as possible and offer you an alternative product or cancellation at your discretion. In the event of us having to cancel, we will make an immediate and full refund of any payment made.
During the checkout process, you may choose to pay on our Website with your credit card or debit card or upon delivery of your Order by cash, credit card or debit card. If you provide your payment details on our Website, you confirm that the credit or debit card you are using is yours. All fields indicated as compulsory must be completed. Please note that we do not store any payment details you provide. All card payments are subject to authorisation by your card issuer.
All products Ordered will remain the property of Carnistore until we have delivered the products to the delivery address specified by you. If your payment is not received and you have already received the products you Ordered from us, you must pay for those products as soon as possible following receipt of your Order.
Purchases will be made in AED Dirhams.
You may be unable to place your Order if the minimum order threshold communicated to you at Checkout has not been met.
Delivery timescales will vary depending on the type of product you have chosen. Unless otherwise communicated on our Website, the following shall apply:
Carnistore Raw Range: Orders for any product from our Raw Range placed before 2pm will be delivered the same day. Orders placed after 2pm will be delivered the next day and you have the option to determine what time you receive the Order from the dropdown menu at the Checkout page.
Carnistore Cooked or Smoke House Range: Orders for any product from our Cooked or Smoke House Range will be delivered within 24 hours. Our Carnistore Crew will call you to verify delivery details and timings if different from the time selected for the delivery of any product from our Raw Range.
Unless otherwise communicated on our Website, the Carnistore Crew rest on Monday so any Order received on Sunday after 2pm and/or on Monday will be delivered on Tuesday. Please think carefully before you choose your delivery time slot as we will be unable to deliver your Order if nobody is able to physically take delivery of it. Please also verify your delivery address carefully before submitting your Order. You will be responsible for any attempted re-delivery charges if we are unable to deliver for reasons beyond our control.
The applicable delivery charge will be added to your final bill at Checkout.
Where the supply of your product(s) or service(s) is delayed or prevented for reasons wholly or partially beyond our control we will make every effort to keep you informed but accept no liability to you for such delay or failure.
Carnistore has partnered with a trusted third party who is responsible for the delivery of your Order from the moment it is collected from the Carnistore Central Kitchen to the moment it is physically delivered to you. In the event your Order fails to arrive when expected, please Contact Us. The Carnistore Crew will investigate immediately and aim to have your Order delivered as soon as possible.
5.How our Products are described and displayed on our Website
We have taken reasonable measures to ensure the prices, description and images displayed on our Website are correct and that all products are fairly described. However, please note the following:
- Weights shown are approximate only. When you place your Order, it will be for a nominal weight of produce, at a specified price. You acknowledge and accept that there may be a small variation in the precise weight of the product that is delivered to you. The Carnistore Crew will take reasonable measures to ensure that any variation does not exceed more than 10% of the weight of any item specified in your Order confirmation email and you agree to accept any Order delivered with a weight that falls within this variation range.
- Products shown may not be the actual size.
- Any garnish, decoration, serving dishes or utensils are not included unless stated in the product description.
- The number of servings given is for guidance only.
- If you have any specific concerns about allergies or how any of the Carnistore products are prepared, please Contact Us and we will be happy to talk more with you, and
- All items are subject to availability and we will inform you as soon as possible if any product or service you have Ordered is not available. We may offer you an alternative product or service of equal or greater value.
You agree to follow any instruction we give you (including, without limitation, any expiry dates or instructions on when to consume the product, each as provided on your Order packaging) to keep products we supply to you safe for consumption.
6.The Carnistore Goodwill Policy
The Carnistore Crew are passionate about our ‘Client Focused’ service. We are committed to providing a smooth and seamless client experience delivering high quality foods to you. That is the Carnistore Goodwill Policy!
If you ever want to ask us anything, whether about our products and services, this Website, any of our Terms and Conditions or even recommendations or advice on how to prepare or serve any Carnistore foods delivered to you, then please contact the Carnistore Crew. Food is our passion and we are here to share that passion with you!
If you believe the Carnistore Crew have not delivered on the Carnistore Goodwill Policy, the products you receive are damaged or incorrectly supplied on delivery or you are dissatisfied with the quality of the produce received, please contact our dedicated Carnistore Client Complaints Team on +971 4 331 3337 or email them at Letstalk@carnistore.com as soon as possible, and within 6 hours of receipt of your Order. They will immediately investigate your complaint. We may offer you a replacement product and/or a refund and any refund given by us will be made to the debit/credit card account provided when you placed your Order.
Naturally, our products may only be returned if we have not serviced you in accordance with the Carnistore Goodwill Policy. You agree to check all products you receive from us immediately upon receipt so if we do not hear from you within 6 hours of receipt, you will be deemed to be satisfied with your Order.
7.The Carnistore Delivery/Shipment Policy
Carnistore will NOT deal or provide any services or products to any of OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions countries in accordance with the law of UAE.
Multiple transactions may result in multiple postings to the cardholder’s monthly statement.
8.Guidelines for Submissions on our Website or Social Media Sites
By making a Submission you confirm that the Submission is your own and that the content does not infringe the material, trademarks or intellectual property of others. Any material you upload to our Website will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary, and we have the right to use, copy, distribute and disclose to third parties any material in the Submissions for any purpose.
Submissions should not include:
- abusive, offensive or otherwise inappropriate language
- profanity, blasphemy, spiteful, racist, sexually explicit, sexually gratuitous or discriminatory comments or content that might be considered to be harassment, abuse or threats against the personal safety or property of others
- comments about other reviewers or bloggers
- remarks that repeat criminal accusations, false, defamatory or misleading statements
- material which impersonates others or personal information about anyone, including yourself, such as phone numbers, postal addresses or credit card numbers
- spam or advertising
- third party brand names or trade marks
Please let us know if you see any Submissions which do not comply with our rules, which we have the right to remove.
We may, from time to time, place links on our Website to other websites that we think you may be interested in visiting. We accept no responsibility for the content of any of those websites.
9.Our Website Terms and Conditions; Use of Our Website
By accessing, browsing, using, creating an account or placing an Order on our Website, you confirm you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
You agree that you will, at all times, use our Website for lawful purposes only and you may not use it in any way that may infringe the rights of others or restricts anyone’s use of our Website.
You agree that you will not, without our prior written consent, copy, reproduce, republish, download, print, post, distribute, re-post, broadcast, record, transmit, edit, communicate to the public, link to, deep-link into, or distribute in any way the web pages, images or materials on, and the computer codes or elements comprising, the Website or any Carnistore Social Media Sites (as defined above) other than solely for your own personal or internal business use. You may not use the content of the Website or any Carnistore Social Media Sites for any commercial purposes whatsoever.
All rights, including copyright and other intellectual property rights, in and to this Website are owned by or licensed to Carnistore. Your use of the Website and its contents grant no rights to you in relation to our intellectual property rights, or that of third parties, in the Website or its contents.
There are certain liabilities which we cannot exclude by law and nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits our liability for personal injury caused by our gross negligence or fraud.
You have certain rights as a consumer, and we shall use reasonable care and skill to ensure the products we supply to you are of satisfactory quality.
We are only responsible for losses that are a natural, foreseeable consequence of our breach of these Terms and Conditions. We will not be liable to you if we are prevented or delayed from complying with our obligations under these Terms and Conditions by anything you do (or anyone acting on your behalf) or fail to do, events which are beyond our reasonable control or the actions or failures of any third party service provider we may engage to deliver your Order to you.
You must follow any instruction we give you (including, without limitation, any expiry dates or instructions on when to consume as provided on packaging) to keep products we supply to you safe for consumption. We cannot accept liability for damage to products we have supplied which is caused by your failure to follow any such instruction.
In any event we will not be liable for any losses related to any business of yours including (without limitation) lost data, lost profits, lost revenues or business interruption.
We exclude all representations, warranties, conditions and terms (whether express or implied by statute, common law or otherwise) to the fullest extent permitted by law. We accept no liability for any losses or damages which are not reasonably foreseeable arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or your use of the Website.
You may not assign or sub-contract any of your rights or obligations under these Terms and Conditions to any third party unless we agree in writing.
We may assign, transfer or sub-contract any of our rights or obligations under these Terms and Conditions to any third party at our discretion.
Only you and Carnistore shall be entitled to enforce these Terms and Conditions. No third party shall be entitled to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions.
No delay by us in exercising any right or remedy under these Terms and Conditions shall operate as a waiver of that right or remedy or shall affect our ability to subsequently exercise that right or remedy. Any waiver must be agreed by us in writing.
If any of these Terms and Conditions are found to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable by any court of competent jurisdiction, the rest of these Terms and Conditions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms and Conditions set out the entire agreement between you and us and supersede any and all prior terms, conditions, warranties and/or representations to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Any matter that arises out of your use of this Website (including any contract entered between you and us through the Website) shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
You agree to use reasonable efforts to resolve any dispute with Carnistore amicably, failing which any dispute shall be referred to the Small Claims Tribunal of the courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre.
All contracts of sale entered between you and us shall be concluded in English.
