Carnistore is looking for a talented, dynamic, proactive, and motivated Social Media Coordinator to create and maintain a strong online presence and develop successful social media campaigns. Expectations include daily communication regarding content creation and overseeing campaign schedules. Additional responsibilities include researching audience preferences and keeping current with trends across various platforms, and creating engaging text, image, and video content.
As a Social Media Coordinator, you will develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote the brand. Ultimately, the ideal candidate should be able to increase web traffic and customer engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies. Overview of the social media accounts.
Research audience preferences and discover current trends.
Create engaging text, image, and video content using relevant professional sources (Canva, post-scheduling software, among others).
Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products and active campaigns.
Some experience in digital marketing, and working within budgeted digital spend.
Former D2C or start-up brand experience is preferred.
Training co-workers to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way.
Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to comments and DMs in a timely manner.
Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics.
Oversee social media accounts’ layout.
Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, such as promotions and competitions.
Measure web traffic and monitor SEO.
Requirements and skills
Proficient in English and copywriting.
Proven work experience as a Social Media Coordinator.
Expertise in multiple social media platforms.
In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video).
Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels.
Excellent communication skills.
Multitasking and analytical skills.
BS degree in Marketing, New Media, or relevant field.
