- Broken glyphs in trial version: apostrophe ('), ampersand (&), hyphen (-), em-dash (—), en-dash (–), pipe (|), period (.), parentheses (), percent (%), and more
- Affects every section type: hero banners, collection banners, product cards, cart, announcements, headings
- E-commerce content is punctuation-heavy: prices (Dhs. 178.50), weights (1.8–2Kg), product names with dashes & apostrophes
- Even with unicode-range workarounds, characters switch between two fonts mid-word, creating visual inconsistency
- Display/decorative serifs are designed for logos and posters, not dynamic web content
- Full licensed version may fix broken glyphs, but the font's thick display style is not optimized for small sizes (product cards, prices, nav)
Recommendation: Use VTCMartin for the brand logo only. For web headings, use a well-supported font like Playfair Display, DM Serif Display, Cormorant Garamond, or keep Poppins.
