Pork Collar - 1.8-2kg
Pork collar steaks are the ribeyes of pork. Some of our own serious foodie staff members at CarniStore acutally prefer this steak to any of its beef counterparts. Collar, as the name suggests, comes from the shoulder area leading up to the neck and is equally great when smoked or slow cooked for the perfect pulled pork. A collar differs from a traditional "Boston Butt" in that it is center cut and without any substantial fat cap, which means the meat is more tender. Sourced from Heritage Berkshire bred pigs that are raised naturally and ethically, free from GMO feed and any and all hormones and antibiotics.
